Too often a lack of plumbing knowledge and language skills can make the process confusing or nearly impossible. In order to make the process much, much easier I have listed questions that you must ask a potential plumber, before you allow them to start your project.   This list of the top six questions, to ask potential plumbing contractors has, for many years been the standard, by which a customer can identify qualified area contractors.

Questions for Your Miami Plumber:
Are you licensed?

Licensing requirements vary from state to state (and country to country). But regardless of the requirements, you should always insist on using a licensed plumbing contractor, who will be happy prove, what they say. While there may be licensed contractors that may not live up to expectations, the risk is a lot less.

  1. Are you insured?

The requirements will still vary, depending on the state you live in, but a plumbing contractor with the proper insurance coverage will give you peace of mind.

  1. How long have you been in the plumbing profession?

Make sure you choose a plumber that has been in the trade for a few years. This will give your chosen contractor enough experience to have worked on most types of problems. You don’t want your plumber learning on your job.

  1. Do I get a fixed price and a quotation before beginning any work?

Never let any contractor start a job, without giving a fixed price prior to starting the work requested. You do not want any surprises after the job is done.

  1. Do you provide a written parts and labor warranty?

If your plumber does not offer at least a one year warranty on materials and labor, choose a different contractor, for the job.

  1. Can I see references?

Any successful and legitimate plumbing company will be able to provide you with references, from past customers. By checking their references, you can be more confident that you have selected the right plumber for the job.

By asking a few questions, you can find the right contractor, for your plumbing needs and be assured that they are qualified, experienced, and reliable.

I recommend that you call My Plumber of South Florida at 305-271-1048 and get the right answers, to your questions, about Miami plumbers.
